Courses

Which courses do you offer?
Four full courses: Complete Barbering for Beginners (12 weeks), Fast-track Beginner to Barber (8 weeks), Advanced Level Barbering (8 weeks) and Master Barber (5 days). We also run short skills workshops in fades, beard work, patterns and colour. See all courses.
Which course is right for me?
If you have never cut hair, start with Complete Barbering for Beginners, or Fast-track if you can commit more time each week. If you already cut, look at Advanced Level Barbering or Master Barber. Still unsure? Come to a free intro evening and ask us.
How big are the classes?
A maximum of 12 students, so you get proper one-to-one time with your tutor.
Will I work on real people?
Yes. You practise on live models from early on, in a working barbershop setting.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. We are a CPD Approved Provider (#787651) and every course ends with a CPD certificate.

Cost and paying

How much do courses cost?
Course prices are shown on each course. They are lower than most barber academies in Manchester.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Every course can be paid in instalments. Ask us about a monthly plan when you enrol, or call 07865 926067.
How do I enrol?
Press Enrol now on any course to pay securely online, or contact us if you would like to pay in instalments.

The free intro evening

What is the free intro evening?
A free 90-minute Introduction to Barbering, on the first Friday of each month from 6pm to 7:30pm. You meet the team, watch a live cut and try the clippers yourself. Book your place.
Do I need experience?
None at all. It is designed for complete beginners.

After the course

Do you help with finding work?
Yes. We offer career guidance and mentoring after you finish, and some of our graduates now cut at Decent Cut.
