Course structure

Weeks 1 to 2: Foundations. Tools, safety, sectioning, clipper control and first cuts.
Weeks 3 to 4: Core cutting. Tapers, scissor over comb and your first fades on models.
Weeks 5 to 6: Fades and beards. Skin fades, blending, beard shaping and line-ups.
Weeks 7 to 8: Shop ready. Speed, real client cuts, getting started in work, and final assessment.

About the course

Fast-track Beginner to Barber covers the essentials of professional barbering in 8 weeks instead of 12. The pace is quicker and the sessions are more intensive, so it suits people who can commit the time and want to start earning sooner.

You train in our academy with live models and experienced barbers from the Decent Cut team, practising the cuts clients actually ask for. We finish with practical advice on getting your first chair or working for yourself.
